It is more likely to be \u003ci\u003eA. elepantinum\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eA. rutenbergianum\u003c\/i\u003e or a hybrid of these. They are all very similar in appearance, however, and are also identical in terms of cultivation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis small dwarf Angraecum originates from Madagascar, where it grows in semi-shaded to shaded, moist but not waterlogged locations, at altitudes of 1,000 to 2,200 metres. It has slightly thickened leaves, approximately 4 to 6 cm long, and grows monopodially, though it branches from the base as it matures. Its growth habit is compact.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe flowers are approximately 5 cm in size, ranging from pure white to ivory in colour, and have a very long nectar spur. They appear singly and last for about 1 to 2 weeks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs an orchid native to the tropical highlands, it requires mild temperatures and should be kept in a cooler environment during the winter to encourage flowering.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou will receive a mounted young plant.
