Most of the leaf is dark green to black, with a light green to yellowish pattern only around the midrib. The leaves are covered in purple hairs, and each hair sits on a small bump, giving the leaves a punctate (\"\u003cem\u003epuncticulata\u003c\/em\u003e\") appearance.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe flowers are about 1 cm in size, zygomorphic, bluish-purple with white markings, and nodding.
