The leaves only grow to about 6 cm long and 3 to 4 cm wide. The entire upper surface of the leaf, except for the veins, is covered with extremely fine, pinkish, glittering dots, which become more silvery in older leaves and under bright light.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e It grows extremely slowly. Of all our \u003cem\u003ePiper\u003c\/em\u003e varieties, it is by far the slowest, but also one of the most beautiful. Unlike most other Pipers, we wouldn't recommend it as a houseplant. It's better suited to a tropical terrarium or a display case. Definitely a plant for enthusiasts and collectors.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Most of the plants we grow have silver leaves instead of pink, because we grow them under bright light to make them grow a bit faster. Under typical terrarium lighting, however, the new leaves will turn pink again!\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eYou will receive a young plant with 3 to 5 leaves in a 9 cm pot.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cspan style=\"color: #ff0000;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePlease note: Piper species are very sensitive to temperature.
