In the right light, they are a completely shimmering metallic blue with green veins and a few short, pink hairs. This species is not \u003cem\u003eSarcopyramis parvifolia\u003c\/em\u003e , which has rounded and more densely hairy leaves.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e All other parts of the plant (stems, undersides of leaves) are red to purple.
