Young plants show a green midrib, while larger specimens have completely silvery leaves. The leaves grow to about 20 cm long and 10 to 12 cm wide. Overall, the plant remains quite low-growing, about 30 cm tall. It has an underground rhizome from which new, upright shoots with leaves emerge at short intervals. Over time, it forms a dense carpet.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e It thrives best in a humid, warm terrarium and prefers high humidity of 70% or more. Unfortunately, we cannot (yet) say whether it is also suitable as a houseplant.
