Arachnis Maggie Oei 'Variegata'

A very attractive hybrid with variegated leaves, a cross between Arachnis hookeriana and Arachnis flos-aeris . Like most Arachnis orchids , it is fast-growing, robust, and prefers very bright light. The flowers are yellow with red spots and are borne in small clusters of 5 to 15 blooms on very long flower stalks. The leaves have white variegation along the edges; the lighter the color, the more pronounced the variegation. Compared to other orchids, it grows very quickly. Under good conditions and with sufficient fertilizer, it can achieve approximately 1 meter of stem growth per year! It can reach several meters in height and length. In nature, the long stems hang many meters down from large trees. As a houseplant, however, they are usually kept upright.



You will receive a strong plant in a 9 cm orchid pot, approximately 20 to 40 cm tall. It will be ready to flower in about 12 months.
