This begonia of unknown origin resembles a mature Begonia aiensis (better known as sp. 'Delok' ) in appearance, but grows significantly larger. The flowers also differ considerably. It may be a natural hybrid from the same area where B. aiensis was found, or even an unidentified (or unregistered) Rex begonia cultivar.
The leaves of young plants are mostly white, with black markings along the main veins. On larger plants, the white markings diminish, forming stripes and spots, while the dark areas become more pronounced. These dark areas also exhibit a strong blue iridescence. It grows upright but remains compact, reaching a height of approximately 40 cm.
With proper fertilization, it grows very quickly and rapidly fills its pot. It may also be suitable as a houseplant in a sheltered location.
Their flowers are pink.

You will receive a strong young plant in a 7cm pot. These young plants still require high humidity. Therefore, please keep them in a terrarium or plant display case initially, rather than as a houseplant.
