Catopsis morreniana

Catopsis morreniana is a small bromeliad from southern Mexico and Central America. It only grows to about 15 cm tall and reaches a diameter of 10-20 cm. With plenty of light, it remains very compact. It is a so-called "branch epiphyte" and grows on surprisingly thin branches in its natural habitat. Therefore, it is ideally suited as a plant for thin climbing branches in a terrarium, where few other plants can grow. Of course, it can also be placed in many other locations, like any other bromeliad.

The flower stalks are surprisingly large and long compared to the plant and last for several months.



You will receive a mature plant in a 5cm round pot. Perfect for mounting or planting in a terrarium.
