Description
Hoya australis originates from Papua New Guinea and northern Australia. It is also found on many Pacific islands. Due to its wide distribution, it is highly variable. The leaves are rounded and very thick, somewhat resembling those of a rubber tree ( Ficus elastica ). These thick leaves store water, which is why it can survive periods of drought well.
The cultivar 'Lisa' has multicolored variegated leaves with a dark green margin and a patterned center. Creamy white and green areas alternate, and new leaves emerge deep red. A well-growing Hoya australis 'Lisa' is a true spectacle of color.
You will receive a strong plant in a 9cm round pot with 2 to 3 shoots.
