Hoya caudata (Sumatra)

Hoya caudata originates from Southeast Asia and is native to Malaysia and many Philippine islands.

There are many different forms of this plant with varying leaf patterns and colors. This Sumatran variety has white-speckled leaves with serrated edges. Initially, the leaves are very limp and soft, covered with a fine down. Later, they become very hard and thick, and the hairs rub off. The leaves are so tough that you can prick yourself on the serrated edges!

The flowers have a white, long-haired corona and a red corolla, and are formed in umbels of 5 to 20 individual flowers. They have a very pleasant fragrance and last for about 5 to 7 days.



You will receive a well-rooted plant in a 9 cm square pot or a 12 cm round pot with a 30 cm trellis. Most plants already have new growth!
