Description
Lepismium cruciforme (Syn. Rhipsalis cruciformis ) comes from southern Brazil as well as Paraguay and northern Argentina and is especially known for the fact that the stems turn dark red in bright light, which contrasts sharply with the white berries.
It has triangular, spineless shoots approximately 2 to 3 cm wide and up to 2 m long. In nature, this cactus grows epiphytically, meaning on and around trees in tropical rainforests. These areas have a humid and warm climate.
The flowers are small, white to pink, and appear in great numbers from spring to summer. They develop into white berries.
Shipped in a 10cm hanging pot, shoots approximately 30cm long.
