Description
Philodendron sp. 'Fuzzy Petiole' probably originates from Ecuador and is often also offered as P. nangaritense , however it differs from this in some characteristics.
'Fuzzy Petiole', as the name suggests, has fuzzy petioles similar to Philodendron squamiferum , and large, heart-shaped leaves with prominently sunken veins and a very fine net-like pattern, which is particularly noticeable in young plants. The leaves are matte and velvety, grow to about 40 cm long and 30 cm wide, and are initially orange, just like the petioles. This species is a climber.
The differences between Philodendron nangaritense and Philodendron sp. 'Fuzzy Petiole' are therefore quite clear, and at least somewhat larger specimens can be easily distinguished from P. nangaritense .
We definitely offer 'Fuzzy Petiole' here (which we think is also nicer :P )
You will receive a strong, approximately 20 cm tall plant in a 12 cm round pot.
