PlantMe moss stick - complete sets

The moss poles consist of modules that are filled with Sphagnum moss. All sets except for the "Mini" size are pre-filled with moss pads for soaking.

Unlike coir poles, the roots can not only grow along the surface but utilize the entire volume of the pole. Sphagnum also stays moist significantly longer and is therefore suitable for more delicate plants that require a continuously moist substrate to form adventitious roots.

We recommend PlantMe moss poles especially for velvety-leaved Philodendron (e.g., melanochrysum, gigas, esmeraldense, patriciae), rare Scindapsus, Piper, climbing ferns (e.g., Pyrrosia, Polypodium), climbing Selaginella (e.g., willdenowii, megalura), and other delicate plants that form adventitious roots (e.g., Anthurium, Hoya, Bulbophyllum).

The PlantMe moss pole also offers an advantage for plants that do not need a continuously moist substrate (e.g., most Monstera, Scindapsus, and Philodendron): Due to the strong root growth in the pole, you can easily cut already rooted cuttings without having to air layer them separately!

The Midi, Maxi, and XL sets also include "Moisture Guard" foils in addition to the modules and the climbing aid, which optionally close off the trellis on the back, and an adjustable dropper that can be filled with water to slowly supply the pole with water over several hours.

The trellises are manufactured in Germany from plant-based PLA plastic.
