Description
This large Plectranthus species originates from northern Australia. The 'Mount Carbine' variety grows upright and emits a very intense lemon scent. With large plants, the lemon aroma is noticeable even when standing nearby, without having to rub the leaves.
All parts of the plant are densely covered with fluffy, fragrant hairs. It grows to about 1.5 meters tall, and the leaves can reach about 15 centimeters in length. The flowers are violet and grow on long, almost endlessly proliferating inflorescences. As with all members of the mint family (Lamiaceae), the flowers are very attractive to bees. Unfortunately, the flowers are rarely seen, as the plant needs to be regularly cut back due to its size and overwintering requirements. However, there is a good chance of seeing a few flower spikes in late summer.

You will receive a plant in an 11cm square pot, at least 20cm tall.
