Psychotria alba

Psychotria are small trees or woody shrubs belonging to the Rubiaceae family, which also includes coffee. Psychotria alba , the white psychotria , originates from South America and is particularly common along the Andes. Its leaves are ovate to oblong with attractive, wavy margins. The flowers are white, and the ripe berries are red. As the name suggests, it contains psychoactive alkaloids. It is very similar to Psychotria viridis , the green psychotria , which is one of the two main ingredients of ayahuasca. The other main ingredient is Banisteriopsis caapii .

You will receive a young plant in a 7cm pot, approximately 15 to 20cm tall.
