Description
This small, climbing fern originates from Southeast Asia. It produces small, hairy leaves, about 2 to 3 cm long and wide. The fertile leaves (sporophylls) are somewhat larger and longer, up to about 6 cm, and bear numerous spores on their undersides. However, they are produced rather infrequently. It grows slowly (but somewhat faster than, for example, Pyrrosia serpens ) and eventually forms dense mats along any slightly rough surface in the terrarium. It tolerates short periods of drought well and does not require particularly high humidity to thrive. The more light it receives and the drier its growing conditions, the denser the white hairs on the leaves become.
A very easy-to-care-for terrarium dweller that, with a little patience, can basically cover any surface with greenery.
You will receive a plant in a 7cm square pot with several shoots.
