Description
Rhaphidophora korthalsii , also known under the synonym Rhaphidophora celatocaulis, is a rare, slow-growing but beautiful Rhaphidophora from Southeast Asia.
As a young plant, it has egg-shaped, bullate leaves in a dark green hue, which can also have a bluish tint. It grows as a tendril up trees, its leaves lying very close to the support. This growth form is described as "shingled," in reference to the shingles of a roof.
As it grows larger, its leaf shape changes completely. The leaves become impressively larger and pinnately lobed. It then looks similar to a mature Epipremnum pinnatum .
You will receive a rooted young plant with 4 to 6 leaves, attached to a peat slab, without soil or pot. It should therefore (temporarily) be cared for in a terrarium.
