This Selaginella of unknown origin is particularly striking due to its very small microphylls, even compared to other small moss ferns. It grows rather compactly, flat, and bushy, instead of spreading into a large mat with numerous runners. It usually remains about 2 to 3 cm tall, only rarely reaching 6 cm. This makes it an ideal candidate for mini and micro terrariums. It grows quickly and easily, so despite its delicate appearance, it needs to be trimmed regularly, otherwise it will spread too aggressively.

Please note: The small twigs of this type break very easily. Even with very good packaging, some pieces will likely break off after shipping. Unfortunately, this cannot be prevented, but it doesn't significantly harm the plant. Such damage is not grounds for a complaint.
