Stromanthe sanguinea 'Triostar'

Stromanthe thalia , also known by the synonym Stromanthe sanguinea , originates from the coastal region of Brazil. It grows in the shady undergrowth of subtropical forests. It is one of the larger members of the arrowroot family and reaches a height of approximately 80 cm. Its leaves are up to 30 cm long, but not particularly wide, only about 5 to 8 cm. They are borne on long petioles. When cultivated indoors, it usually remains considerably smaller, reaching a height of about 50 cm with leaves approximately 20 cm long.

The cultivar 'Triostar' is distinguished by its beautiful, cream-colored variegation. Large parts of the leaves are white, some stripes are light green, and some are dark green. Fresh leaves often have a slight pinkish tinge on the white parts.

You will receive one plant in a 12cm round pot. Plant height approximately 20 to 30cm.
