Description
Typhonodorum lindleyanum , also known as "water banana", is a rare arum lily from the swamps of Madagascar.
It grows up to 4 meters tall, of which approximately 2 meters are the pseudostem and 2 meters are the enormous, upright leaves. In our latitudes, it remains somewhat smaller, but can certainly reach over 2 meters in height. This species grows very quickly when it has sufficient nutrients and is kept in warm water (20+ °C). Therefore, it is usually sold as a seedling before it becomes too large for shipping.
The flowers are about 30 cm long, very thick and "fleshy" and white.
You will receive a strong seedling, approximately 40-50 cm tall, in a 9 cm square pot (3rd picture).
