Description
This substrate is primarily used in aquascaping, where it is known as aquasoil. It consists of pellets made from volcanic soil, compressed into small spheres. These pellets contain all essential plant nutrients, lower the pH (when used in aquariums), and their spherical shape creates a very loose substrate that allows atmospheric oxygen to penetrate even to deep soil layers. This promotes optimal root growth and prevents rot, both in aquariums and when used in very humid terrariums.

The dark color of the substrate (black when moist) makes plants stand out particularly well.

In a practical 800g bag, ideal for small terrariums with a floor area of ​​approximately 20 x 20 cm, wabikusa or bottle gardens.
