Calathea musaica 'Network'

Calathea musaica , which according to current systematics is actually called Goeppertia kegeljanii , is a rather variable species, and several very differently looking forms exist. The form offered here, with its high-contrast, fine pattern, is known as 'Network'.

It originates from the east coast of Brazil and is one of the more low-growing members of the genus. It usually only reaches a height of about 30 to 50 cm, but nevertheless has quite large leaves that can grow to over 20 cm long and 15 cm wide. Its leaves have a fine, network-like venation with dark markings, leaving countless small, angular "windows" between the veins, which are light green to yellowish in color.



You will receive one plant in a 12cm round pot. Plant height approximately 20 to 30cm with many new shoots (should be repotted soon!).
