Description
The "butterfly plant" Christia obcordata is one of several Christia species from Southeast Asia, and certainly one of the most beautiful. It belongs to the legume family (Fabaceae) and has dramatically red and green striped leaves shaped like a butterfly.
It grows as a small shrub, reaching a height of about 40 cm. It is almost always offered only as poorly germinating, imported seeds, as it is not particularly easy to cultivate and care for. We offer this species exclusively as a young plant, which has already survived the tricky early stages!
You will receive a young plant in a 12 cm round pot. The plants are at least 10 to 15 cm tall.
