Description
Doryopteris cordifolia (often incorrectly called Doryopteris cordata ) is a fern from Madagascar with dimorphic (two-shaped) fronds and is also known as the antenna fern due to its vertically upright sporophylls (spore production). It remains quite small. The hairy trophophylls (photosynthesis) form a dense, low-lying cushion.
