Description
This large sundew is one of three Drosera species from the state of Queensland (Australia) known as the "Queensland Sisters". The other two species in the trio are Drosera prolifera and Drosera schizandra . They are closely related and distinguished by requiring less light than other sundews.
Of the three , Drosera adelae is the easiest to care for and also the largest species. With a diameter of just over 20 cm, it is also one of the largest sundews overall. In bright light, the leaves turn reddish.
Drosera adelae is one of the best flycatchers of all Drosera species I know. It easily catches even larger pests.
Plant in a 9cm square pot. Approx. 10cm in diameter.
