Description
Homalomena sp. Riau (Sumatra) is an arum lily (Araceae) from the island of Sumatra (Indonesia). More precisely, the only known observation in the wild comes from the area around Rokan IV Koto District, Riau Province, Indonesia.
It remains quite small and compact, reaching a diameter of about 30 cm and a height of approximately 15 to 20 cm. The leaves are matte and velvety, which is why it is sometimes nicknamed 'Jungle Velvet'. A striking feature is the white marking along the sides of the leaves, while the center remains clear. Its flowers are greenish-white and rather inconspicuous.
It grows relatively slowly.
You will receive an almost fully grown plant with several shoots in a 12cm pot.
