Description
This Hoya is widespread in Southeast Asia and grows in the monsoon forests, which are at least seasonally dry. This species was synonymized with Hoya acuta some time ago, so H. parasitica is no longer actually the correct name.
There are many different forms of this plant with varying leaf patterns and colors. This particular form has pointed leaves with raised veins and a stylish black margin. The leaves are very thick and succulent, indicating that it can tolerate short periods of drought well.
The flowers have a white, long-haired corona and a red corolla, and are formed in umbels of 5 to 20 individual flowers. They have a very pleasant fragrance and last for about 5 to 7 days.
You will receive a plant in a 12cm pot with many shoots.
