Lysimachia nummularia (creeping Jenny) in vitro

Creeping Jenny (Lysimachia nummularia) is a popular and well-known garden plant, but it also thrives in terrariums and aquariums! On land, the plant forms dense carpets of small, round leaves measuring 2 to 3 cm. It grows well in shady, moist spots in the garden (or terrarium). Underwater, it develops upright stems and is an attractive and easy-to-grow background plant. It was one of the first species ever kept as an aquarium plant, long before tropical plants were available to aquarists. It prefers cooler temperatures and is therefore best suited for unheated terrariums (room temperature) or cold-water aquariums.



Instructions for in-vitro plants: These plants are supplied in sterile cups containing a sterile nutrient solution and are intended for immediate use. Plants in in-vitro cups cannot be stored for long periods. Therefore, please open and plant them immediately upon receipt. To do this, thoroughly rinse the nutrient solution under running water. Divide the plants from the cup into portions of the desired size and plant them. When using them as terrarium plants, keep them very moist initially and pay attention to hygiene (avoid mold, etc., in the terrarium). Opened in-vitro plants are non-returnable.
