Description
Marcgravia sp. 'Iquitos Round' is a small and unusual Marcgravia from the region around the city of Iquitos in northern Peru. As a young plant, it grows closely adhering to trees and, in its juvenile form, has strikingly round leaves with red petioles, main veins, and stems. It retains its delicate leaves, which are only about 1 to 1.5 cm in size, even later as a climbing plant. If it eventually forms protruding branches, the leaves on these are more oval, no longer light green with red veins, but velvety dark green. A truly beautiful contrast.
In terms of care, Marcgravia are absolutely problem-free in a terrarium if they remain slightly moist at all times.
You will receive a rooted plant in a 5.5 cm pot, approximately 5 to 10 cm long.
