Marcgravia sp. Peru

Marcgravia sp. Peru is a small and unusual Marcgravia , probably from northern Peru. Like other species, it grows close to trees as a young plant, but it doesn't climb as directly and unbranched as other species. In our experience, it branches unusually extensively and eventually forms a dense mat. It is particularly small, with delicate leaves only about 1 to 1.5 cm in size, and doesn't seem to grow any larger as it climbs. This is truly unusual for Marcgravia , which typically grows upwards without branching.

Marcgravia are absolutely trouble-free to care for in a terrarium, provided they remain slightly moist at all times.



You will receive a plant that is already branched with several shoots in a 5.5cm pot.
