Description
Japanese mondo grass ( Ophiopogon japonicus ) originates (of course) from Japan, but can also be found in South Korea and China. Although it looks like a grass, it is not closely related to grasses but belongs to the asparagus family (Aspagaraceae). It is hardy down to -10 °C and is usually best known as a garden plant. The particularly small cultivar 'Minor' is also suitable for terrariums. The leaves only grow to about 8 cm long, and it forms a compact clump, which, together with its purple flowers and berries, looks very attractive!
You will receive one plant in a 5.5 cm pot.
