Description

A very small, fan-shaped, epiphytic orchid from Panama and Colombia, found in shady, moist but not wet locations, at altitudes of 600 to 1000 meters.

It grows in slightly shadier conditions and prefers more moisture than the similar-looking Ericyna pusilla, to which it is not closely related. The small, green/white flowers look like tiny satellite dishes and are arranged on ascending flower stalks up to 10 cm long.
