Description
This tiny dwarf pepper plant is widespread in South and Central America. There it grows everywhere in shady, somewhat damp places, both on the ground and epiphytically on trees, branches and even on larger leaves.
The leaves of Peperomia prostrata are only about 5 to 8 mm long, and the variety offered here has a fine light/dark green pattern on the leaves. The flower spikes are typical of pepper plants, shaped like a club, and grow to about 3 to 5 cm tall.
This dwarf pepper plant is an ideal ground cover for very small terrariums and bottle gardens.
You will receive a strong plant in a 5cm round pot with shoots approximately 10-15cm long.
