Plectranthus grandidentatus

Plectranthus grandidentatus originates from eastern South Africa and is instantly recognizable by its distinctive, coarsely toothed leaves. When rubbed, the leaves release a subtle, slightly bitter fragrance. These plants grow quite large and are suitable for container planting during the summer months. However, they prefer to be overwintered indoors, as they are not frost-tolerant.

The plant also produces large, terminal flower clusters. However, in order for these to develop, the shoots must not be cut again after the autumn or spring pruning.



You will receive a strong cutting with 2-3 pairs of leaves and a leafless node for rooting. The cuttings are freshly cut and unrooted. They will root quickly in water or directly in soil. When rooting in soil, please ensure high humidity or controlled conditions.
