Description
An absurdly tiny, (almost) leafless Bulbophyllum from Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Myanmar and Thailand.
It grows as a minuscule, mat-forming epiphyte or lithophyte in hot to warm habitats at altitudes of around 20 to 800 metres above sea level.
The wrinkled pseudobulbs, measuring just 2 to 4 millimetres, initially bear a single leaf, which is soon shed. It grows as a compact mat and at a rather slow rate.
The flowers are also very small, only about 3 to 5 mm in size, orange and striped. They appear singly.
You will receive a mounted, flowering size plant with several growth points (see the third image in the gallery as an example). It is normal for some of the older pseudobulbs to be yellow!
