Description
The fiddle-leaf fig ( Ficus lyrata ) owes its name to its large leaves, which are rather narrow proximally to the petiole and widen distally, resembling the shape of a violin. This fig is actually a tropical tree that can grow up to 15 meters tall, but when cultivated indoors, it can be kept significantly smaller by pruning.
