Description

Guzmania 'Hope' is a compact variety with a particularly beautiful inflorescence, probably derived from Guzmania lingulata var. minor. It grows to a height of around 20 cm and reaches a diameter of 40 to 60 cm. Its compact growth habit and beautiful, bright red inflorescence make it perfectly suited as a terrarium plant. The narrow leaves are dark green to reddish-brown on top and striped with red and green underneath.

It can also be easily kept as a houseplant, but due to its rather thin leaves, it is slightly more sensitive to dry air than other bromeliads, especially in winter.

You will receive a flowering plant or one capable of flowering, approx. 10 cm tall, approx. 10 to 15 cm in diameter.
