Description

Psychopsiella limminghei is native to Brazil and Venezuela.

This unique, tiny miniature orchid is native to Venezuela and Brazil and grows epiphytically, with pseudobulbs and leaves that lie flat against the tree. The elliptical, red-speckled, matt-green leaves are arranged alternately on the left and right and are reminiscent of the growth habit of a Marcgravia (only much slower).

The leaves are only about 3 to 4 cm in size and the whole plant is usually less than 10 cm long.

The small, yellow flowers appear singly, one after the other, on a 10 to 15 cm long flower stalk. Each flower stalk bears 3 to 5 individual flowers.

A beautiful and distinctive miniature orchid for warm, humid terrariums.

You will receive a freshly mounted young plant (see image 3). Ideal for attaching directly to the terrarium.
