Description
The Silver Pothos is native to Southeast Asia, where it grows as a creeping or climbing plant in the understory of rainforests.
Its velvety leaves have very pretty silver spots and can grow up to 10 cm in size. The ‘Tricolor’ variety is characterized by a stronger contrast than usual and individual light green to yellowish spots within the silver sections.
If grown as a hanging plant or ground cover, the leaves remain smaller. If given something to climb, it forms aerial roots with which it clings to the surface, and the leaves become significantly larger and press tightly against the substrate. This growth habit is described as “shingling” (with leaves overlapping like roof shingles).
You’ll receive a multi-stemmed plant in a 10-cm pot.
