Description
A somewhat smaller and very tasty relative of the typical papaya. It grows in Central America in both lowlands and highlands up to about 1500m. It flowers and bears fruit at a height of only about 1.5 to 2 meters. This makes it significantly easier to bring this papaya to fruition in our latitudes. The fruits are oblong, banana-yellow when ripe, and somewhat smaller than typical papayas.
You will receive a strong young plant, approximately 20cm tall, in a 7cm rose pot.
Please note: Papaya plants usually react to changes in location by dropping most of their leaves. However, they quickly sprout new growth and then continue to grow rapidly.
