Description
Fine-grained expanded clay (4 to 8 mm), pre-washed. Significantly smaller than the usual 8-16 mm expanded clay pebbles and therefore better suited for smaller terrariums and bottle gardens!

Expanded clay can be used in substrate mixes to improve root aeration or as a standalone substrate in hydroponics. It is also ideal as a drainage layer for terrariums, bottle gardens, or houseplants. Expanded clay contains no organic components, is chemically neutral, and fertilizer-free.
