Description
Perlite is a very light, porous rock of volcanic origin. With its large surface area and low density (approx. 70g/L), it perfectly loosens potting soil. It prevents soil from compacting over time and improves air and water permeability.

We use perlite for all plants that are planted in regular potting soil. Depending on the type of plant, we mix in about 10% to 50% perlite. So far, we haven't found a single plant that doesn't grow better with perlite in the pot :)

Perlite is also suitable as a sterile and nutrient-free sowing substrate.

Chemically neutral and without additives. Grain size 2-5 mm.
