Description
30 x 20 cm background for terrariums made of cork bark. Perfect for designing subtropical tanks.

We recommend these backgrounds for tropical terrariums for reptiles and many amphibians. However, they should not be used in very humid terrariums or paludariums, as the cork will begin to deteriorate after 2 to 3 years due to the constant moisture. In normal, tropical terrariums, the backgrounds last significantly longer (we tested this ourselves by submerging them underwater for several weeks – they swelled slightly but did not disintegrate!).

The back is untreated and therefore slightly uneven. When gluing, please create a sealing edge around the panel, otherwise feeder insects and any terrarium inhabitants could get behind it!

The individual slabs measure 30 x 20 x 1 cm. It is a natural product; each slab is unique.
