Description
New Zealand xaxim as a slab (soft). This is a natural product and the dimensions of 30 x 30 x 1.5 cm may vary slightly.

Xaxim is a natural product made from the trunks of tropical tree ferns.
Xaxim is the ideal substrate for epiphytic plants, e.g. orchids, ferns and bromeliads. Their roots grow into the xaxim, which simultaneously stores water and allows air to reach the roots.

Xaxim is therefore suitable for greening back and side walls in terrariums. If sprayed regularly, numerous ferns and mosses sometimes settle on the surface of the tree fern slabs, and the slabs start to turn green after about 2 to 3 months. The slabs can be attached to the terrarium wall with silicone.
