Jungle Lux Linear Lens – 40/60/80/100 Grow Light

This full-spectrum plant lamp (grow light) in tube form is specially designed for use in plant terrariums, grow tents, or for freestanding plants. The Linear Lens series acts as a linear spot and can efficiently illuminate plants at a greater distance than unfocused lamps.

The beam angle is 60°, making it particularly suitable for, e.g., tall terrariums >80cm or plants standing further away. At short distances, correspondingly high lighting intensities result in a narrower illuminated area. For less light intensity at 120°, the Jungle Lux Linear is suitable, for high overall performance the Plus. For concentric spots, choose the Jungle Lux Spot or the powerful Highlight.

The lamps are available in three different lengths. The title indicates the respective suitable installation length. The lamps are therefore slightly shorter.

Only highly efficient diodes are installed, with a system efficiency of approx. 140 Lm/W including power supply and red components! The PPE value of the light source is 2.4 μmol/s/W. This corresponds to approx. 170% of the light output of conventional diodes.

By combining 5000K (cool white) diodes with an innovative 430 nm chip, 3000K (warm white) diodes with a classic 450 nm chip, and 660nm (red) diodes, not only is an optimal spectrum for plant growth achieved, but also a pleasant, neutral white light color with very high color rendering (CRI ~90). Due to the flattened plateau in the blue range (double peak), this radiation is more available to plants at the same intensity and colors appear more natural.

In addition to these diodes, which emit visible light, (absolutely unique in this price segment!) so-called "Far Red" infrared diodes with 730nm are also installed. These produce light in the so-called near-infrared spectrum, which is invisible to humans but stimulates important physiological processes in plants. Especially for the often beautifully patterned plants of the undergrowth, these wavelengths are important for leaf coloration and ensure an increase in biomass in many plants, which in turn allows more light to be captured (see, e.g., Wenqing et al. 2021).

The lamps come with a 1m connection cable and require no additional power supply! They have a 60cm extension and lamps with a total output of up to 150W can be connected together without additional cables.

All cable connections and the plant lamp itself are IP65 splash-proof and can therefore get wet during operation.

Matching the lamps, we offer extension cables and in-line timers, which can be integrated using the same plug-in system as for connecting the lamps.
