Jungle Lux Linear Plus – 40/60/80/100 Plant Lamp

This full-spectrum plant lamp (grow light) in tube form is specially designed for use in plant terrariums, plant display cases, and grow tents. The Linear Plus series is designed for more light-intensive applications; due to its double equipping, one Plus light replaces approximately two normal Jungle Lux Linear lights of the same length.

The lamps are available in three different lengths. The title indicates the suitable installation length. The lamps themselves are therefore slightly shorter.

Linear Plus 100: 26W, 4100 Lumens

Only highly efficient diodes are installed, with a system efficiency of approx. 150 Lm/W including power supply and red components! The PPE value of the light source is 2.5 μmol/s/W. This corresponds to about 180% of the light output of conventional diodes.

The beam angle is 120°. If you want to illuminate plants at a greater distance, you should use Jungle Lux Linear Lens with 60°, Jungle Lux Spot with 38° or 30°, or Jungle Lux Highlight with 60°.

By combining 5000K (cool white) diodes with a new 430 nm chip, 3000K (warm white) diodes with a classic 450 nm chip, and 660nm (red) diodes, the result is not only an optimal spectrum for plant growth but also a pleasant, neutral white light color with very high color rendering (CRI ~90). Due to the flattened plateau in the blue range (double-peak), this radiation is more available to plants at the same intensity, and colors appear more natural.

In addition to these diodes, which emit visible light, so-called "Far Red" infrared diodes with 730nm are also installed (absolutely unique in this price segment!). These produce light in the so-called near-infrared spectrum, which is invisible to humans but stimulates important physiological processes in plants. Especially for the often beautifully patterned undergrowth plants, these wavelengths are important for leaf coloration and lead to an increase in biomass in many plants, which in turn allows more light to be captured (see e.g. Wenqing et al. 2021).

The lamps come with a 1m connection cable and do not require an additional power supply! They have a 60cm extension, and lamps with a total power of up to 150W can be connected together without additional cables.

All cable connections and the plant lamp itself are IP65 splash-proof and can therefore get wet during operation.

Matching the lamps, we offer extension cables and in-line timers, which can be integrated using the same plug system as for connecting the lamps.
