Jungle Lux Highlight 80 (64-48) W Plant Lamp 12000 Lumens, 60°, Dimmable

This full-spectrum plant lamp (grow light) acts as a powerful spotlight with a light beam of 60° beam angle - ideal for plant areas in rooms, grow tents, tall terrariums and much more. Also well suited for cannabis setups, the 3 stages of the lamp can be used, for example, for seedling phase 48W - vegetation phase 64W - flowering phase 80W.

Only highly efficient diodes are installed, achieving a luminous flux of >12000 lumens or 160 μmol/s with a power consumption of only 80W. This corresponds to 150 Lm/W or 176% of the light output of conventional diodes, including power supply and red components! The PPE value of the light source is 2.2 μmol/s/W.

Another advantage of the high efficiency is the low waste heat, which is quickly dissipated via the heavy powder-coated aluminum housing. This achieves a significantly longer lifespan than with hot-running lamps. The grow light can also be placed directly on glass panes (e.g. on a terrarium) without hesitation. The base of the lamp is flat to allow exactly this!

The focused light of this spot has a greater depth effect than, for example, linear lights like our Jungle Lux Linear. The spotlight should therefore also have a slightly higher minimum distance to sensitive plants. Taller terrariums/paludariums, plant display cases or plants standing freely in the room can be ideally illuminated with it.

By combining 4000K (neutral white) and 660nm (red) diodes, not only an optimal spectrum for plant growth is achieved, but also a pleasant light color with high color rendering (CRI ~85). Also very well combinable with our equally neutral white Jungle Lux Linear tube plant lamps for basic illumination.

In addition to these diodes, which emit visible light, so-called "Far Red" infrared diodes with 730nm are also installed. These produce light in the so-called near-infrared spectrum, which is invisible to humans but stimulates important physiological processes in plants. Especially for the often beautifully patterned plants of the undergrowth, these wavelengths are important for leaf coloration and cause an increase in biomass in many plants, which in turn allows more light to be captured (see e.g. Wenqing et al. 2021).

The lamp is delivered ready for connection, including a 1.8 m cable with switch. Continuously dimmable via the 0/1-10V interface cable. Our optionally available dimmer can be connected for this purpose, or custom voltage dividers or PWM controllers such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi can be used. Shorting the dimmer line can be used for remote shutdown. The 3 main stages of the lamp can also be set directly via a switch on the housing without a dimmer. The beam angle can also be changed to 90° or 120° using the optionally available interchangeable lenses.
