This full-spectrum plant lamp (grow light) in tube form is specially designed for use in plant terrariums, plant display cases, and grow tents. The standard series is ideal for plant shelves with e.g. Anthurium, Alocasia, Calathea, or terrariums up to approx. 60 cm in height.

You can find out which grow light is right for which application in our comparative blog. The beam angle is 120°. If you want to illuminate plants from a greater distance, you should opt for Jungle Lux Linear Lens with 60°, Jungle Lux Spot with 38° or 30°, or Jungle Lux Highlight with 60°.

The lamps are available in four different lengths. The title indicates the suitable installation length. The lamps are therefore slightly shorter.

Only highly efficient diodes are installed, with a system efficiency of approx. 150 Lm/W including power supply and red components! The PPE value of the light source is 2.5 μmol/s/W. This corresponds to approximately 180% of the light output of conventional diodes.

By combining 5000K (cool white) diodes with a novel 430 nm chip, 3500K (warm white) diodes with a classic 450 nm chip, and 660nm (red) diodes, the result is not only an optimal spectrum for plant growth, but also a pleasant, neutral white light color with a very high color rendering (CRI ~90). Due to the flattened plateau in the blue range (double peak), this radiation is better available to plants at the same intensity, and colors appear more natural.

In addition to these diodes, which emit visible light, so-called "Far Red" infrared diodes with 730nm are also installed (absolutely unique in this price segment!). These produce light in the so-called near-infrared spectrum, which is invisible to humans but stimulates important physiological processes in plants. Especially for the often beautifully patterned plants of the undergrowth, these wavelengths are important for leaf coloration and ensure an increase in biomass in many plants, which in turn allows more light to be captured (see e.g. Wenqing et al. 2021).

The lamps come with a 1m connection cable and do not require any additional power supply! They have a 60cm extension and lamps with a total power of up to 150W can be plugged together without additional cables. All Jungle Lux Linear types are compatible with each other.

All cable connections and the plant lamp itself are splash-proof according to IP65 and can therefore get wet during operation.

Matching the lamps, we offer extension cables and in-line timers, which can be integrated using the same plug system as for connecting the lamps.
